The original recipe is Chicken and Rice but I used my left over turkey from Thanksgiving and it was delish.

Ingredients
- 3 quarts chicken broth
- 2 - stalks celery, chopped w/leaves
- 2 - carrots, sliced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 - chicken bullion cubes
- 2 cups shredded turkey
- - pepper to taste
How To Make turkey and rice soup

Step 1Using a large pot, cook celery and carrots in chicken broth until veggies are done. Add onion powder, bullion cubes and rice, simmer about 15 minutes. Add shredded turkey, simmer about 10 minutes more. Make sure rice is done and fluffy. Add pepper to taste. I didn't use any salt because the broth was salty enough.

Step 2We have several older widowers at church and I took 3 of them a pint of soup for their lunch today. Plus a baggie of Crock Pot Candy. They were happy campers.
