  • 4 can(s)
    green chiles, diced, 7 ounces each
  • 1 lb
    turkey, ground
  • 1 small
    zucchini, thinly sliced
  • 1 c
    corn kernels, frozen
  • 14 oz
    canned peeled tomatoes with juice
  • 24 oz
  • 6
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Successful Green Chile Stew


  1. Brown the ground turkey.
  2. Just before it is done, add the garlic and saute it with the meat.
  3. Then put this into a large saucepan or dutch oven.
  4. Turn on heat to medium high and add tomatoes and juice.
  5. Use a spatula to cut up the tomatoes in the pan.
  6. Add the rest of the vegetables, chiles, water and the seasoning.
  7. Bring to a boil, then turn heat down and cook until zucchini becomes soft.
  8. Spoon into bowls and serve.
