My family loves this soup and the best part about it is that it's so easy. You can make it ahead in the Crock Pot or you can make it on the stove top.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup diced white onion
  • 64 ounces beef stock
  • 2 cans mixed vegetables (14.5 oz each)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup pearled barley

How To Make ground turkey soup

  • Brown the ground turkey and onions.
    Step 1
    Brown the turkey and onions. Cook until the meat is well cooked.
  • Add beef stock, vegetables, salt, white and black pepper, and bay leaves.
