My husband and I ate 4 meals from this recipe. MMMMMMM-good. I did not have tomato sauce so I used a 6 oz. can of tomato paste and added 2 ounces of water. For a vegetarian option, try replacing the beef bouillon with vegetable broth and add more veggies or beans instead of turkey. recipelion.com

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 3 teaspoons beef bouillon
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup mushrooms, fresh, chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper, diced

  • Step 1
    Add all ingredients except sliced mushrooms to slow cooker.
  • Step 2
    Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Step 3
    Add mushrooms and turn up to high for 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Serve with rolls or garlic bread.
