This is a very easy soup recipe. My family said this recipe was a keeper. Great for these cold winter days.

Ingredients For vegetable beef soup

  • 1/2 lb
    ground chuck, cooked
  • 2 can
    (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 can
    (8 ounce) tomato sauce
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 pkg
    (16 ounce) frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 pkg
    (16 ounce) frozen soup mix
  • 1/2 c
    dry onion soup mix

How To Make vegetable beef soup

  • 1
    In a large pot over medium high heat, saute the ground chuck for about 5 minutes or until browned
  • 2
    Drain off excess fat.
  • 3
    Add the tomatoes, sauce, water, vegetables and soup mix.
  • 4
    Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.
  • 5
    Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
