chicken broth, low fat, low sodium
1-10.5 oz. can(s)
creamy poblano & queso or fiesta nacho cheese soup
1-15 oz. can(s)
white corn, drained

chili beans, undrained

medium salsa
1/8 tsp
1/8 tsp

garlic powder
1/8 tsp
black pepper
1/8 tsp
cayenne pepper

How to Make Spicy Bean Soup


  • 1Stir refried beans and chicken broth together in a large saucepan. Stir until smooth.
  • 2Add remainder of ingredients. Stir to blend.
  • 3Simmer for 15 - 20 minutes. Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream or corn chips.
  • 4Adjust spiciness to taste by your choice of soup, salsa and amount of pepper.
