This is an old standby in the State of Maryland. I have adapted it to my family's taste and we and our friends absolutely love it. I have shared this recipe with many.

Ingredients
- 32 oz, boxes chicken broth, low salt
- 28 oz cans whole tomatoes, peeled, chopped with juice
- 15 oz cans tomato sauce
- 5.5 oz cans v8 juice - spicy hot
- 1 can whole corn, drained
- 1 can sliced carrots, drained
- 1 can sweet peas, drained
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 or 3 tablespoons old bay seasoning (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon salt (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 pound crabmeat, fresh - claw or regular
How To Make penny's maryland crab soup

Step 1Combine all ingredients in large dutch oven or soup pot. Bring to boil and turn down to simmer for about an hour. Add crabmeat and heat through. Even better the next day.
