Hill Country Potato Soup
3 cshredded, green cabbage
4 Tbspchopped onion
1/2 tspcaraway seeds
2 can(s)condensed cream of potato soup
·white pepper, to taste
2soup cans of water
How to Make Hill Country Potato Soup
- In a Dutch oven, cook cabbage, water, onion, and caraway seed in melted butter until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Add soup and pepper.
Pour into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Return mixture to saucepan; gradually stir in milk. Heat and stir occasionally. Thin to desired consistency by adding milk.
