Ingredients
- 2 cans condensed chicken broth, undiluted
- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen leaf or chopped spinach
- 1/4 lb. - cooked ham, chunked
- 1/4 cup instant mashed potatoes
- 1/4 lb. - thinly sliced peperoni
How To Make hearty green soup

Step 1In a medium saucepan, combine chicken broth, 1 cup of water, spinach, and ham. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, 5 minutes, stirring to separate spinach.

Step 2Stir in instant potato. Add peperoni. Simmer 2 minutes longer, or until slightly thickened. Nice served with fresh bread.

Step 3Sometimes I add a little extra ham and peperoni to make it meatier. Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top is good too.
