one day I was craving a BLT sandwich.I didn't have any bread, so I came up with this soup instead.You can eat without the Mayo but it really does help bring out the flavor of the soup and cut the acid of the tomatoes.

  • 1 lb
    bacon, uncooked
  • 1/2 bunch
    green onions chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    8oz tomatoe sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    28 oz diced tomatoes in juice
  • 2 medium
    tomatoes diced
  • 4 c
    tomatoe juice
  • 11 c
    shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    seasoned croutons

How to Make BLT soup


  1. chop and cook bacon until crispy,do this in a large pot to save on dishes
  2. after cooking add in chopped onions until tender, add in all tomatoes and tomatoe juice
  3. heat throughly
  4. garnish with mayonnaise,shredded lettuce and croutons
