How to Make Sweet Potato Bisque
- Melt butter in pot, add garlic and onion. Sautée until soft. Add chicken broth and bring to boil. Add potatoes to boiling broth remove from heat. Add your seasonings now. When softened use an emulsion blender or place in a food processor. Blend well. This will have almost the consistency of baby food.
It's great served with a spoon of sour cream on top, or maybe a couple small marshmallows and pecans!
