Ingredients
- 2 large peeled, chopped sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 small diced onion
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 3 dashes nutmeg
- 4 cups chicken broth
- - salt & pepper to taste
How To Make sweet potato bisque

Step 1Melt butter in pot, add garlic and onion. Sautée until soft. Add chicken broth and bring to boil. Add potatoes to broth. Once boiling again and softened, remove from heat. Add your seasonings now. When softened use an emulsion blender or place in a food processor. Blend well. This will have almost the consistency of baby food. It's great served with a spoon of sour cream on top, or maybe a couple small marshmallows and pecans!
