How to Make Spanish Franks
- Dice hot dogs, onion, and potatoes. I buy 5lb potatoes and dice up as many as you like. We love potatoes so I cut up at least 3/4 of the bag.
- In a pot, fill with water to boil diced potatoes. Put potatoes and diced onion in water and boil for about 10-15 minutes. Don't overcook potatoes because you will be cooking them more when hot dogs are added. But make sure there not real hard because you might have to cook them a little longer.
- Put in diced hot dogs. Add your tomato soup. ( I get the 23 ounce can and another small can) 1 whole stick of butter, and chili powder for seasoning all at the same time when you add your hot dogs. Cook another 10-15 minutes to cook the hot dogs. We like it seasoned well so just add the chili powder to your liking.
- Make sure your potatoes are well cooked and when done, I let mine set for about 1/2 hour covered to enjoy flavor. Enjoy!!
