portuguese style pork soup
I took this recipe and added some of my own favorite ingredients and it made the most flavorful soup ever. The broth is so good even my picky eater granddaughter loved it. I had to pick the beans out for her but she couldn't get enough. It calls for sweet white wine. I did not have any but I substituted Shaoxing wine which is an Asian rice cooking wine. It goes good with anything. If you can't find that wine in your town you can get it on Amazon.com. It's inexpensive and works great.
