I found this in my Mom's recipe collection and tweeked it to our liking. Sometimes I put all fresh ingredients if I have a little more time. I make it with a salad and it is very filling and always requested at home and gatherings. I even make extra to share at work.
1In a large soup pot, brown ground meat of your choice with onion, green pepper and garlic. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce and seasonings. Bring to boil over medium high heat. Boil 2 minutes, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, covered. Stir occasionally.
2Add bite sized lasagna noodles to soup and cook until tender (about 15 minutes).
3When ready to serve, mix in the grated parmesan cheese. Ladle into individual bowls and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
