I HAD SOME POTATOES NEEDN TO B USED AS WELL AS SOME HAM SOOOOOO SOUP SOUNDD PERFECT FOR A COLD NEW YORK DAY.......N IT WAS :)

Ingredients

  • 6 cups potatoes, peeld, n diced
  • 1 box chickn broth, 32 oz carton
  • 1 can condnsd cream of celery soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, onion n chive flavrd
  • 1 cup ham, choppd (or more)
  • 6 slices bacon, choppd n cookd & the bacon grease mmmmm!
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, choppd
  • 1 teaspoon dill, choppd
  • - salt n pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredd (or mont jack) cheese is optional

How To Make creamy potato n chunky ham n bacon soup

  • Step 1
    PUT DICED POTATOES IN A LARGE SOUP POT N COVER WITH CHICKN BROTH, COVER N BRING TO A BOIL THEN SIMMER FOR 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL TENDER.
  • Step 2
    WITH A STICK BLENDER (or u can do half at a time in blender BCAREFUL WITH HOT LIQUIDS) N BLEND TILL SMOOTH. ADD CREAM CHEESE N CREAM OF CELERY SOUP N MIX UNTIL WELL COMBINED.
  • Step 3
    ADD CHOPPD HAM, CRUMBLED BACON (N BACON GREASE), PARSLEY N DILL....STIR TO COMBINE N SIMMER FOR 10 MINUTES. TASTE FOR SALT N PEPPER...IF NEEDD
  • Step 4
    LADLE INTO BOWL N TOP WITH SHREDD CHEESE, IF DESIRED....ENJOY :)
