I grew on conchitas a traditional mexican household dish..you can add any cheese you like or even with out. There are so many variations hope you enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1 bag(s)
    conchas little pasta shells
  • 1/2 can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 4 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    oregano
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    veg oil
  • ·
    monterey jack cheese

How to Make Conchas

Step-by-Step

  1. add oil to heated pot and add shells and brown up lightly
  2. then add your tomato sauce and broth along with seasonings bring to a boil then lower and simmer until pasta shells are tender
  3. last add your monteray jack cheese in cubes let sit until melted..
