Ingredients
- 6 cups chicken broth (low salt)
- 3 1/2 to 4 cups potatoes diced
- 3 1/2 to 4 cups ham pit or tavern (low salt)
- 1 cup broccoli, frozen or carrots
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup flour for thickening
- 1/4 cup butter
- 6 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 4 cups milk
How To Make cheese potato soup

Step 1In a large pot(dutch oven)combine broth, ham, potatoes, onions, and butter. Cook until potatoes are tender

Step 2Mix the flour with 1 to 2 cups of milk. Shake or stir until smooth and add to the soup with the other milk.
