Ingredients
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 8 cups whole milk
- 5 large potatos, baked
- 2 pounds bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon kosher or sea salt
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 1/4 cups grated parmesan cheese
How To Make baked potato soup

Step 1Ensure potatoes have already been baked, cubed and skin removed

Step 2Melt butter in large pot over medium/high heat. Add Flour and whisk to combine until thickened.

Step 3Whisking continuously, slowly pour in the milk and whisk until mixture is smooth.

Step 4Add all remaining ingredients and lower heat to medium. Stir until cheese is melted and soup is warm enough to serve.

Step 5Top bowls of soup with a few shreds of cheese, bacon bits and green onion.
