crab & shrimp gumbo
Here is another recipe that can be made while you're at the track or camping or anywhere that you have limited resources. I try to have all my ingredients measured and put into small Rubbermaid/Tupperware containers and organized in storage containers with all the other ingredients for a specific meal. On a side note: I like clams so I also make this using canned baby clams as an additional ingredient.

Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked crab meat
- 1 pound cooked shrimp
- 1 medium onion
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 cans crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 can diced green chiles (4 oz)
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon grains of paradise
- 2 cans fish stock
How To Make crab & shrimp gumbo

Step 1Chop the onion into medium sized pieces and saute in the butter for 10 min.

Step 2Stir in the flour and continue to saute until you see a slight browning of the sauce.

Step 3Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for an hour to blend flavors.
