Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 teaspoon each, salt & pepper
- 1 - carrot, grated
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon dried dillweed
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup potato flakes
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
How To Make thick and creamy potato soup

Step 1Add butter to lg pot, over medium heat. Add onion and cook until browned. Add potatoes, carrot, water, salt, peppper and dillweed.

Step 2Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally for 45 mins, or until potatoes are creamy. Stir in milk and parsley.

Step 3Stir in potato flakes and heat through.
