Thanks to the potato flakes, it gets real thick and creamy, Great for these colder nights.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon each, salt & pepper
  • 1 - carrot, grated
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon dried dillweed
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup potato flakes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

How To Make thick and creamy potato soup

  • Step 1
    Add butter to lg pot, over medium heat. Add onion and cook until browned. Add potatoes, carrot, water, salt, peppper and dillweed.
  • Step 2
    Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally for 45 mins, or until potatoes are creamy. Stir in milk and parsley.
  • Step 3
    Stir in potato flakes and heat through.
