  • 1-1/2 c
    diced onion
  • 1/2 stick
  • 1/2 tsp
    each, salt & pepper
  • 1
    carrot, grated
  • 2 c
  • 4 c
    potatoes, diced
  • 1 tsp
    dried dillweed
  • 3 c
  • 1/4 c
    potato flakes
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped parsley

How to Make Thick and creamy potato soup


  1. Add butter to lg pot, over medium heat. Add onion and cook until browned. Add potatoes, carrot, water, salt, peppper and dillweed.
  2. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally for 45 mins, or until potatoes are creamy. Stir in milk and parsley.
  3. Stir in potato flakes and heat through.
