This is one of our favorite potato soups. I got it from a cookbook called Mystic Mountain Memories by Josie and Jerry Minerich. Prep and cook time are a guess

Ingredients For souper gomer's

2 mdred potatoes

3 to 4 cmilk

1 cancream of mushroom soup
-
1/2 lbcheddar cheese , diced

1/2 tspgarlic salt

1/2 tspseasoning salt

1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 tsppepper
-
2 tspparsley flakes
-
dashnutmeg
How To Make souper gomer's

1Scrub or peel potatoes. ( I usually peel mine.) Cut into pieces and boil only until potatoes are tender.

2Drain and mash slightly with fork, leaving chunky.

3In the same pan, add milk, soup and seasonings, stirring until heated thoroughly. Do not boil.

4Stir in cheese until melted. Taste it and add more cheese or seasoning if desired.
