Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 cup crisp bacon bits
- 1/2 cup onions finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 6 cups diced potatoes
- 1 tablespoon tony's seasoning
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 can canned milk
- 1 cup cream or half & half
- 2 tablespoons butter real
- 1/4 cup parsley
How To Make potato soup

Step 1In a large pot add oil, and fry bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Step 2In bacon grease add onions, cook until they start to turn clear then add garlic cook for about 4 min,

Step 3add your chicken broth and potatoes to pot. Add tony's and bay leaf. Cook until potatoes or just tender then add can milk, cream and butter

Step 4To thicken take out one cup of potatoes and mash and add to soup. We like it with a thinner broth, if you like it thick mash more potatoes.

Step 5let simmer until hot ( DO NOT LET BOIL )

Step 6Remove bay leaf. Add parsley

Step 7Serve with chopped bacon and shredded cheese
