Potato and Ham Soup
5 lbrusset baking potatoes, cut into small cubes (about 1/2 inch size)
1thick slice of cooked ham, cut into small pieces
1/2 cbutter (1 stick)
·salt and pepper to taste
1 chalf and half
1/2 csour cream
How to Make Potato and Ham Soup
- Put the diced potatoes into a large soup pot and add just enough water to cover the potatoes. *Too much water will make the soup too thin*
- Cover and bring to a boil, then uncover and cook over med-high for about 20 min.
- Reduce the heat and add the ham and butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Over low heat, add the half and half and sour cream. Heat through and enjoy!
