boneless skinless chicken breast cubed
3 Tbsp
6 slice
bacon cooked and crumbled
8 oz
sliced mushrooms
1 medium
onion diced
3 clove
garlic minced
3 c
chicken broth
1 1/2 c
heavy cream
2 c
gruyere cheese shredded
1/4 c
fresh parsley chopped
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make My Creamy Chicken Soup


  • 1Add butter to Dutch oven. Cook chicken until almost done. Remove chicken with slotted spoon. Add onion, and garlic. Saute for 4 minutes. Add mushrooms and saute another 4 minutes.
  • 2Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. Add the heavy cream and bring back to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Add cheese and cook until melted.
  • 3Remove from heat. Add parsley and bacon. Season to taste.
