    boneless skinless chicken breast cubed
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 6 slice
    bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium
    onion diced
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 3 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 2 c
    gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1/4 c
    fresh parsley chopped
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make My Creamy Chicken Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Add butter to Dutch oven. Cook chicken until almost done. Remove chicken with slotted spoon. Add onion, and garlic. Saute for 4 minutes. Add mushrooms and saute another 4 minutes.
  2. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. Add the heavy cream and bring back to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Add cheese and cook until melted.
  3. Remove from heat. Add parsley and bacon. Season to taste.
