How to Make Easy Potato Soup
- Add 7 cups of water and 2 Tablespoons of Chicken base to a large pot. Bring to a boil.
- Cut both packages of cream cheese into small pieces. Drop pieces in boiling water and allow enough time for them to dissolve.
- Dump 1 bag of shredded hash browns into the boiling mixture. Boil while stirring occasionally until potatoes are tender.
- Season with pepper, shredded cheese, bacon bits or green onions (optional)
My family enjoys this soup with diced ham added too.
