Ingredients
- 8 cups beef broth
- 2 large onions thinly sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms diced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make creamy jack mushroom and onion soup

Step 1Add beef broth to large Dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Add onions and reduce to a simmer and simmer on med low for 30 minutes. Add mushrooms and simmer 15 more minutes.

Step 2Mix flour with water and add to soup to thicken. Cook about 5 minutes. Add heavy cream and bring back to a boil. Reduce to simmer and simmer 5 more minutes.

Step 3Add 1 1/2 cup cheese and stir until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve top with remaining cheese.
