My family loves this potato soup. I have tried several but this is the one they always ask for. It is so good on a cold day!

Ingredients

4-5
potatoes cubed
1 c
chopped carrots
1/2 c
chopped onion
1 c
chopped celery
1 c
parsley flakes
1
bouillon chicken broth cube
salt and pepper to taste
1 c
milk
2 Tbsp
flour
1 pkg
velveeta cheese (1/2 lb)

How to Make Cheesey Potato Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Add the first seven ingredients together in a large soup pan.
  • 2Cover with water and simmer about 20 minutes or until vegetables are done.
  • 3Mix the 2 tablespoons of flour with the 1 cup milk and then add to soup and stir. Add velveeta cheese. When cheese is melted and blended with soup it is ready to serve.
