I make this often for get togethers with friends and they love it. Perfect for a cold winter day!

Ingredients

  • 8 cups red potatoes, diced
  • 3 cans chicken broth (14.5 oz each)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • - chopped scallions, crumbled cooked bacon, shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make potato chowder (crock pot)

  • Step 1
    Place first five ingredients in crock pot.
  • Step 2
    Cook on low for 8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
  • Step 3
    Add cream cheese and cook until melted.
  • Step 4
    Serve topped with scallions, bacon, and cheddar.
