Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 2 stalks celery diced
- 6 small potatoes sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pint milk
- 1 pint cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 pint oysters
- - boiling water
How To Make oyster chowder

Step 1Cook bacon in a pot. Remove bacon and crumble

Step 2Add onions, celery, potatoes and seasonings to bacon fat. Cover with boiling water. Cook until almost tender.

Step 3Add milk and cream. Bring to a boil.

Step 4In a cup blend butter and flour. Add to chowder.

Step 5Add oysters and cook until oysters begin to curl

Step 6Garnish with crumbled bacon
