This is the first meal I really learned how to make. I started with something really simple and then changed it and added stuff to it. Im sure others have made it quite like it, but this is my specialty and everyone in my family loves for me to make it especially my husband.

  • 2 lb
    100% ground beef
  • 1 bag(s)
    family size bag of fritos, i prefer scoops
  • 2 15 oz can(s)
    dark kidney beans
  • 1 10 oz can(s)
    hot enchilada sauce
  • 1 10 oz can(s)
    mild enchilada sauce
  • 1 bag(s)
    sharp shredd cheese
  • dash(es)
    i use alot of minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    the franks red hot sauce
  • dash(es)
    garlic salt
  • 1 8 oz can(s)
    tomatoe sauce
  • dash(es)
    grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Warm the heart chili cheese bake


  1. cook the hamburger meat and drain it, add the minced onions and garlic salt, I always put grated cheese in the hamburger meat also
  2. break up half the bag of corn chips and put them in a casserole dish, covering the whole dish. put the rest of bag to side.
  3. mix the meat,beans,the enchilada sauce,shred cheese , the tomatoe sauce together. Add the hot sauce. Mixing it together like a soup.
  4. Put all of the mixture on top of the corn chips.
  5. cover with aluminum foil and bake on 375 for 30 mins.
  6. When done put the rest of the scoop fritos along the sides and add the rest of the cheese on top in the middle , put back in oven to melt the cheese, uncovered for 5 minutes or until melted
  7. And then eat it, enjoy and fight over who gets the seconds. It is a bit spicy and will warm your heart and make you love the person who made it even more :)
