Me and my family love chili! I have added things to this recipe or the past years.It is a very easy chili to make but it is also very hearty and warming,and most important delish!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 small
    white onion diced
  • 1 can(s)
    4 oz ortega mild green chili's diced
  • 2 can(s)
    12 oz cans of bush's chilli beans mild sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    14.5 oz del monte zesty chili style diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 2 tsp
    sugar

How to Make Wallen Family Chili

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook meat,dice onion,chili peppers,salt,pepper,and garlic powder together until done.
  2. once meat mixture is done pour into large cooking pot.
  3. Add chili beans, chili tomatoes,chili powder,sugar and ketchup together mix and let simmer on low
    until bubbling.About 45 to 50 mins. Be sure to stir occasionally so chili doesn't stick or scorch.
  4. Garnish with Sour Cream,Shredded Cheese and Green Onion.Can also serve with Frito's or Cornbread.
