Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken breast, cubed
- 1 medium onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 31 ounces great northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can chicken broth
- 7 ounces green chilies
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- OPTIONAL TOPPINGS
- 1/2 cup mexican blend shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup bacon, crumbles
- 1/2 cup chives, chopped
How To Make marian's white chili

Step 1In large saucepan, saute chicken, onion and garlic.

Step 2Add beans, broth, chilies & spices.

Step 3Bring to boil, simmer un-covered for 30 minutes.

Step 4Remove from heat, stir in sour cream and whip cream. Serve with toppings of choice.
