I just use light beer. You can use dark beers but different beers will yield different flavors. Experiment with different beer's until you find the one you like.

onion diced

beer i use bud light different beers will make different flavor
1 jar(s)
chili sauce
4 Tbsp
soy sauce
2 Tbsp
each chili powder and cumin
4 clove
garlic minced
1/2 c
brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
2 c
knorr's homestyle beef bouillon
1 lb
ground beef cooked and drained
8 oz
pasta cooked and drained
1 c
shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Chili Beer Soup with Pasta


  • 1Combine first 8 ingredients in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and simmer 20 minutes.
  • 2While this is simmering cook your beef and pasta. Set aside.
  • 3Add water and bouillon to the chili beer ingredients. Cook until bouillon is completely dissolved.
  • 4Stir in the pasta and meat. Serve in bowls with cheese on top.
