I like to make up my own chili recipes. So many variations. This one is a keeper!

beer brats casing removed
large onion chopped
1 med
green bell pepper chopped
3 Tbls
chili powder
1 28 oz ca
tomato puree
1 28 oz
tomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid
1 can
condensed tomato soup
1 sm can
tomato paste
1 can
kidney beans with liq
1 can
black beans rinsed
navy beans drained
1 cup

How to Make Beer brat chili


  • 1Break up brats and cook in lrg fry pan until cooked through, drain grease
  • 2Add chopped onion and bell pepper (can add jalapeño pepper as well if desired) cook until soft
  • 3Add chili powder, salt, pepper as desired.
  • 4In large soup pot add all tomato products and water. Stir well to dissolve soup and tomato paste.
  • 5Add meat onion pepper mixture. Bring to a simmer then add beans.
  • 6Simmer for approx. 1/2 hr and enjoy with a loaf of crusty bread
