  • 1 pkg
    (18 oz) refrigerated original barbecue sauce with shredded prok or chicken
  • 2 can(s)
    black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 can(s)
    beef broth
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder

How to Make Barbecue Black Bean Chili Recipe


  1. In 4 1/2 quart Dutch over or 4 quart saucepan, mix chili ingredients. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.

    Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. High Altitude: Add 1/4 cup water to all chili ingredients.

    For more flavor and thicker chili, simmer longer.
