Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 large carrot thinly sliced.
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 package knorr's home-style chicken bouillon or 1 tbsp butter then bouillon chicken bouillon
- 1/2 cup orzo
- 1/2 large lemon juice and zest
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon chopped
How To Make garlic lemon soup with orzo

Step 1Squeeze the lemon juice and the zest into a bowl and set aside.

Step 2In a large pot heat olive oil. Add the onions and garlic and saute until translucent. Add wine and deglaze the pan. Add carrots. cook until wine is almost all evaporated.

Step 3Add chicken broth and bouillon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add orzo. Cook until orzo is tender.

Step 4Add basil, parsley, and tarragon. Add lemon juice and zest and cook 1 minute.
