chicken broth
8 large
eggs
salt and pepper to taste
green onions or chives

How to Make Egg Drop Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Bring the broth to a rolling boil. While it's heating, crack all the eggs into a bowl and break the yolks but don't beat them.
  • 2Remove the broth from heat, and while stirring gently pour the eggs in slowly.

    Season with salt and pepper
  • 3Serve topped with chopped green onions, or chives
