I love a good soup on a cold winter evening. My grandson enjoys a soup similar to this at a resturant we frequent so I wanted to come up with something that he would like and I hit the jackpot with this one. We have a cold week ahead so this one is going to be great for warming us up.

rice flour
1 c
snow peas
12 oz
frozen peas and carrots
4 c
chicken broth
chicken breasts-cooked and shredded
2 c
salt & pepper to taste

How to Make Creamy Chicken Vegetable Soup


  • 1In a large sauce pan melt butter whisk in rice flour to make a rue. Once it is smooth add the chicken broth.
  • 2Add the peas and carrots and the snow peas. Let it simmer and thicken.
  • 3Add the shredded chicken. Keep simmering about 30 minutes or so.
  • 4Stir in the two cups of cream.
  • 5ENJOY!
