Another great recipe for left-over Thanksgiving turkey!

Ingredients

  • - scraps and bones of chicken or turkey
  • 3 pints cold water
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour, heaping
  • 1 - onion, sliced
  • 1 pint cold milk
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make cream chicken (or turkey) soup

  • Step 1
    Combine scraps and bones with water, celery, onion, salt and pepper. Simmer slowly until reduced to about one quart.
  • Step 2
    Strain out the bones. Melt butter and stir in flour; stir in milk and boil until thickened. Add to the chicken broth just before serving. Season to taste.
