Ingredients
- - scraps and bones of chicken or turkey
- 3 pints cold water
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons flour, heaping
- 1 - onion, sliced
- 1 pint cold milk
- - salt and pepper
How To Make cream chicken (or turkey) soup

Step 1Combine scraps and bones with water, celery, onion, salt and pepper. Simmer slowly until reduced to about one quart.

Step 2Strain out the bones. Melt butter and stir in flour; stir in milk and boil until thickened. Add to the chicken broth just before serving. Season to taste.
