chicken noodle soup sandwich
What to have on a rainy, misty wintery { not cold just yucky } kind of afternoon? How about combining the classic lunch of soup and a sandwich! Anyone can do soup and a sandwich, but who can do a chicken noodle soup sandwich? Me me me me me I can…. If you can’t find the Veri Veri Teriyaki sauce just add soy sauce and some sesame seeds to the soup.

Ingredients
- - 1 can progresso chicken noodle soup
- - 1 pita pocket
- - 1 tablespoon veri veri teriyaki sauce
- - ¼ teaspoon ginger
- - 1 green onion { cut fine using both white and some of the green }
How To Make chicken noodle soup sandwich

Step 1Slice the pita in ½ and put both half’s in a medium hot 325 oven and get them crispy. Turn off the oven and bring the pitas out of the oven and make a pocket in them. Put them back in the oven to keep warm.

Step 2Drain the broth from the can of soup. Add the Teriyaki sauce and ginger and bring this to a rolling boil. Continue to boil this { you’ll have to stir this often } till you have about 2 two 3 tablespoons left.

Step 3Add the noodles and stuff from the can of soup and turn the heat to a very low setting. Cook this just long enough to get the chicken and vegetables hot.

Step 4TO ASSEMBLE THE SOUP SANDWICH:

Step 5Put the hot soup { noodles and stuff } in the pita and get some of the gravy like broth in it too!

Step 6Top off the magical sandwich with the green onions.
