My family loves this soup. I sent some to my parents once and my dad said it was the best chicken soup he has ever had. I add the noodles last because if you add them at the beginning they will come out chewy.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 - chicken breast
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 medium carrots, cubed
  • 2 - celery, cubed
  • 2 cans chicken broth, low salt
  • 1/2 package egg noodles, no-yolk variety

How To Make chicken noddle soup

  • Step 1
    Cook chicken cut into pieces. Wash and cut up the carrots and celery. Chop onion into small pieces. Add broth to the crock pot.
  • Step 2
    Add cooked, chicken, onion, carrots and celery to the crock pot. Cover and cook on low for about 4-5 hours.
  • Step 3
    When the carrots, onions, and celery are tender add half the bag of egg noodles and cook until the noodles are soft.
