Ingredients
- 1 cup small pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 - small onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced (or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder)
- 3/4 cup carrots, shredded or finlely chopped
- 3/4 cup celery, finely sliced
- 1 - chicken breast, cooked and chopped
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 1 pinch dried parsley
How To Make chicken and pasta soup

Step 1Cook pasta until al dente, about 7 or 8 minutes. Drain.

Step 2Meanwhile, in a large pan, sauté onion, garlic, carrots and celery until crisp tender, about 8 minutes.

Step 3Add the rest of the ingredients, except the cooked pasta. Simmer until vegetables are tender, 45 - 60 minutes.

Step 4Add the pasta to the soup before serving and heat to serving temperature.

Step 5Can be frozen. Omit pasta if freezing and add when serving.
