Ingredients

1 c
small pasta
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1
small onion, diced
1 clove
garlic, minced (or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder)
3/4 c
carrots, shredded or finlely chopped
3/4 c
celery, finely sliced
1
chicken breast, cooked and chopped
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
5 c
chicken broth
1 pinch
dried parsley

How to Make Chicken and Pasta Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook pasta until al dente, about 7 or 8 minutes. Drain.
  • 2Meanwhile, in a large pan, sauté onion, garlic, carrots and celery until crisp tender, about 8 minutes.
  • 3Add the rest of the ingredients, except the cooked pasta. Simmer until vegetables are tender, 45 - 60 minutes.
  • 4Add the pasta to the soup before serving and heat to serving temperature.
  • 5Can be frozen. Omit pasta if freezing and add when serving.
