Was at my daughters and decided to make her a soup. None of my soups are the same. I got inspired by some freezer leftovers and 3/4lb ground beef that needed to be cooked.
A hearty soup with just a slight kick.
Husband and kids said this was by far the best soup ever!

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

3/4 lb
ground beef
1 large
chopped onion
long banana peppers chopped
2 clove
garlic chopped
1 c
beef gravy
1 pkg
envelope beefy onion soup mix
4-5 c
s&p to taste
3 large
cheese stuffed hot peppers or 6 hot poppers
2 1/2 c
french style green beans
1 bag(s)
tortellini, cheese stuffed
1/2 bag(s)
beef tortellini (optional)

How to Make Stuffed Hot Popper Beefy Soup w/Tortellinis


  • 1Set crockpot to high.
    In a pot on stovetop brown ground beef with onions, peppers and garlic. Drain most of fat leaving a few tablespoons for flavor.
  • 2Add to crockpot.
    Add gravy, dry soup mix and water stir.
    Slow cook for 2 hours.
  • 3Turn crock pot to low.
    Chop and add hot poppers. Add green beans, salt and pepper. Continue to slow cook for 3 hours.

    Boil tortellinis in salted water, til done.
    Add half to soup and stir. Ready to serve. Tortellinis for side to be added in as needed. I also cooked 1/2 bag beef tortellini, for next day.
