There is a mexican restaurant we go to that serves soup with their meals. I tried to duplicate their bean soup & must say, I did a pretty good job of it! Hope you enjoy!

15.5 oz. pinto beans
4 can(s)
water (i just filled one of the bean cans)
strips bacon
2 tsp
italian seasoning
1 1/2 Tbsp
cilantro, dried
1 Tbsp
2 Tbsp
valentina extra hot salsa picante
2 tsp
1 1/2 c
fresh spinach, chopped
packet lipton onion soup mix
2 tsp
parsley flakes

How to Make Mexican Bean Soup


  • 1Combine all ingredients in the crock pot/slow cooker & cook on high for about 6 - 7 hours, stirring occasionaly.
