How to Make Crock Pot Pinto Beans
1Cover pinto beans with water in a large bowl; allow beans to soak overnight.
2Place pinto beans, ham bone, onion, green bell pepper, sugar, cayenne pepper, cumin, garlic, and oregano into the crock pot.
3Pour chicken broth and water over bean mixture.
(Enough to cover the ingredients).
4Cook on high until beans are tender, 5 to 6 hours.
