Another of Mark's family recipes. I have never made it because I never liked the flavor of prunes...but he swears it is amazingly good! I will take his word for it...LOL He says this makes an excellent winter soup.

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound pitted prunes
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 pound rhubarb, cut up
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 3/4 cup sour cream

Step 1Soak prunes in 2 cups of water overnight. Cook in the same water for 30 min. Cook rhubarb in 2 c boiling water for 10 min. Combine. Run through a sieve or puree with a blender. Add cinnamon, cloves, sugar and flour mixed with 1/4 c cold water. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Cool slightly, add sour cream. Serve after the main course.
