I love zucchini but I added a new twist and it came out fantasic!!

fresh zucchni
1 lb
fresh squash
3 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
chicken base better then bouillon
1/4 c
half & half
1/2 c
chicken broth, low salt
1/2 pkg
hidden valley salad dressing ( the twist)
1` medium
onion diced

How to Make Zucchini Soup


  • 1Heat large pot of boiling water. Add zucchini and yellow squash rounds, boil for 3 minutes, drain and set aside.
  • 2Add butter to pot and melt over med heat,when butter is hot saut'e onions till tender.
  • 3meanwhile transfer cooked zucchini and squase to food processor, puree them until smooth pour the pureed zucchini & squash back into pot with the onions, add soup base and stir it in with the onions and zucchini and squash.
  • 4Finally, add the half & half and enough chicken broth to make the soup the consistency that you want.
