Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    wonton wrappers
  • 1 lb
    pork, ground
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 6 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    shallots, chopped

How to Make Won-Ton Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix pork, egg, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  2. Fill wontons.
  3. Cook in boiling water until wontons float to top.
  4. Remove from water.
  5. Heat chicken stock and add wontons, ladle into soup bowls and add shallots and soy sauce.
