This recipe belonged to my husband late cousin. She didn't like to cook and when ever you were invited to dinner this is what she prepared. I think she got this recipe when she was in girl scouts. my husband likes it so I thought I would post it.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, margarine, or bacon fat
- 2 - green peppers, sliced
- 2 medium onions
- 6 medium potatoes
- 1 pound hot dogs
- 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
- 3 tablespoons flour
- - salt, pepper, mustard, ketchup
How To Make weiner stew

Step 1Melt butter in pot over low heat.

Step 2Peel onions and potatoes and wash peppers.

Step 3Cut vegetables into small pieces. Put onions and peppers in pot and cook until onions look clear.

Step 4Put potatoes and 2 cups water in pot. Cover and boil 10 minutes.

Step 5Cut hot dogs into chunksand put into pot, add green beans (juice too).

Step 6Mix flour in a little water to make a smooth paste and pour into stew.

Step 7Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover pot and boil gently for 10 minutes.

Step 8Flavor with mustard or ketchup. Serves 6.
