Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon ghee or olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh turmeric or 2 tsp powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups vegetable or chicken stock
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 ounces cooked rice noodles
- 3 scallions, chopped
- 1 lime
How To Make tumeric detox soup

Step 1Heat the ghee or olive oil to a saute pan. Add the onion and cook about 5 minutes. Add the ginger, garlic, and fresh turmeric and cook another minute. Add the cumin and coriander and stir.

Step 2Add the water and stock and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, taste and add salt. Stir in the noodles and cook about 3 minutes.

Step 3Serve in bowls topped with scallions and a squeeze of lime.
